my weekend.

The fri nite that I was soooo excited about turns out to be... suam suam kuku, as my fellow amnet will say... Y?

It's nt like Ungu's performance wasn't great, it was (for the record, it's much much better than I expected!) and I finally realise why shows at Esplanade is that expensive - the sound system is super dooper power of the terma! First time watch BAND CONCERT in Esplanade mah- baru realise... kalau yg lain2 show I watch mcm tk obvious sgt sound sytem dier... bt Oh Boy! the drums itself is like WOOOHOOO! OK, I'm digressing aren't I? Where was I again?

Pasha is cute (duh!) n Onci is lustable (;p) bt all that is lost as we were seated on the 1478th level!

The truth is, I wasn't really concentrating.. (how to when I only know 4 songs???) and I am not a super huge die-hard fan of Ungu.

And I found myself comparing them to Sheila on 7. Ok, not comparing. Bt I kept thinking about So7 and the good old days.... Haiz... How I am sooo old now and things have all change. I miss Sheila soooo much... bt I know I cn never look back. It's just not the same without the original line-up. And then I thought, if I was younger, and things were like it used to be, maybe I'd have a chance to getting to know Ungu better, personally. Sempat gak, aku teringat kan si Tonet during the show... At the end of the show ( a very short one, I must say!), there just weren't enough impact.

So not enough impact, that we girlies got sooo super excited to see Taufik Bastisah. Mcm kental kan? Pape lah sekadar utk menjeleskan Buncit & Kucing.

In the car, during the ride home, Shahreil was playing Wings and then both Along and him said, tk impact mcm tgk Wings sey. And I thought, it's ok, 1 more week I get to see my Sayang in action.

NOT!!!

THEY DAMN BLOODY EFFING CANCELLED THE DAMN CONCERT!!!! WTF TO THE POWER OF INFINITY I'M TELLING YOU!

I got a call from Along on Sun around 2++ (i tink) and she said, Adil got an sms which said that the concert got cancelled bla bla bla and we both tot that maybe its nt true. After all, Shahreil did say that Ungu's concert got cancelled twice! N he was just kidding. Manalah tau kan sms ni sama mcm sms2 artis2 yg mati tp tk mati rupernyer... TETAPI... htiku tk rasa sedap hati, coz I knew there had been a couple of cock-ups before....

so i hunted down muzika records joo chiat no, which wasnt easy coz I just realise I deleted the no frm my phonebook and the number is not listed with the directory. Luckily I'm smart. I remembered that now there's a MR (TKC) so I tot maybe theirs is listed. True enough, after calling 100 twice (blame my poor memory) I called TKC for JC's no and after a long waiting on the line they finally answered the call.

Me: Nak tanya kit... Wings' concert cancelled eh?

Him: Ya. Dpt sms kita?

Me: CANCELLED????!

Him: Ya. Dpt sms kita?

Me: So it's really true? It's really cancelled?

Him: Yaa. Dpt sms kita?

Me: No. Bt a fren got it from another fren, so checking out if its true.

Him: Kiter tgh in the midst of sending sms nie. Hari tu u beli tiket kan?

Me: No, my abg ipar.

Him: Then nnt ur abg ipar dapat sms k.

Me: Ni cancel ke postpone???

Him: Boley kirakan cancel lah, or tukar... sbb ada artis rock lain yg ada... bla bla bla...

Me: Then you mean, takkan ada concert Wings???

Him: ermm... kiter tk tau lah... tp tk dgr pape berita lagi nie..

Me: Tiket mcm mana? Refund?

Him: nnt sms ada detail, kalau nk refund, lepas 21st.

Me: er.. boley saya tau kenapa?

Him: kiter pun tk tau lah.... mungkin ada masalah komunikasi antara wings ngan singapore organiser kot...

Me: ok............... terima kasih......

Ok, a bit of exxageration in the conversation written above, bt basically inti nyer mcm tu lah!
How dare they ruined my sunday!!!! Nasib baik aku lum beli kepak tau!

Sayang, dtg lah spore k??????????????????? All Diyana's fault lah ni!

I was like bored to pieces in the weekend. Luckily Natasha suggested meeting up for a while before she went to werk. So I said, let's go Woodlands. After she left, I wanted to watch a movie. Yeah, alone. Bt den there wasn't any good movies available (yg ada cumer citer2 seram and I dun wanna watch criter seram mlm2 sorang2 kan???? and hi sch musical 3, dat i missed by 25 mins! damn!) so i decided to just go back home and whine.

sun was pretty much the same, except that nat woke me with a BGNNNNNNNN!!! NK G BF TK??? so i quickly changed n we ate at Ya Kun. Then she accompanied me for my delivery at Serangoon then I dropped her off before going back. Niat di hati nk g jemputan, bt I've been a bit down in the dumps the last wk (dunno y! ok, i tink I noe y, bt i like to ignore the y) and mcm malasss gitu, walaupun jemputannyer di sebelah blk. malas nk tukar n plus, i haf no partner to go with. my mum suggested herself and I said, then i will be a confirmed loser.

Oh ya, before i forget - Nat has 4 tix to watch Quantum of Solace (it's an ICA thingy) and of coz one is for her and one is for me. The catch? I have to bring a date and she will bring a date. That's easy for her lah! She can ask any of her guy friends or anak baba (wic she doesnt want to ajak no matter how I begged! I shld try threatening and blackmailing... hmmm... that's a thought..) It's an unfair competition!

She texted me wif a "Kin!!! I just scroll down my phonebook and realise that I got no cute guys in my list!!! how???"

I replied " u got no cute guys, i got no guys! compare that!"

I tink I noe who she will end up bringing and thus, I have no choice bt to try all the avenues.. and one of which is.... *drum roll please*
